Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities 
 

Weekly morning volunteers are needed at both campuses. Shelving books, checking out books, and creating and monitoring wish lists are just a few of the tasks involved. 

 

A volunteer is needed at each campus to pick up box tops from the main office to count and bundle them. This can be done at home. If more than one person is interested, a committee will be developed to help share ideas on how to capitalize on this form of fundraising.

 

Help identify opportunities, share ideas and create teams of parents, students and faculty to take part in community service events such as soup kitchens, cancer walks, etc.  A coordinator and committee will be established at each site.
 

Committee members at each site will be responsible for managing the refreshment & snack table during various school events including parent orientation, Montessori University, class meetings and open houses. Using the school's allotted budget, volunteers will purchase snacks and drinks.  Committee members take turns working the hospitality table or they find others who would like to volunteer for a specific event. The volunteers for the event are responsible for setting up and cleaning up as well as greeting event attendees. This is a great way to volunteer while being able to attend the night’s event.  A coordinator and committee will be established at each site.
 

Plan and organize social gatherings both on site and off site for each campus or for the school as a whole. These events could include family outings as well as adult only functions. Ideas might include bowling, movie nights, game nights, fitness nights, etc.  A coordinator and committee will be established at each site.
